Metinvest Closes First Securitization Deal for EUR75 Million

(Translated from Russian) The international vertically integrated mining and metals group of companies Metinvest has successfully launched a new program of securitization of accounts receivable for its Italian rolling mills – Metinvest Trametal and Ferriera Valsider – in the amount of EUR75 million.

The securitization is part of the group’s financing strategy to strengthen its debt portfolio with instruments that will improve creditworthiness, reduce borrowing costs and create an optimal basis for attracting long-term working capital financing, the company said in a press release on Wednesday.
